Talking about yourself is something I find really hard. I guess that being a photographer kind of makes you lazy with words … Lame excuse – I know.
I grew up with 2 parents who shared a common passion for photography but it was only when I turned 20, during a trip to the land of the Massai that the photography bug got me … and never left!
The light, the colors, atmospheres, faces, emotions, shared intimacy …
being able to capture these unique moments, remember them for ever and share them.
That’s what it’s all about.
After a first career in marketing and PR, about 5 years ago I decided to become a professional photographer and never regretted it.
Self taught at first, later on I followed workshops with some amazing photographers :
Norman Jean Roy, Platon, Kurt Marcus, Jim Richardson, Annabel Williams…
I share my love for photography with my husband, Cedric Jacquet who is an amazing wildlife photographer. We also share a passion for globe trotting, good food, our 2 kids and 6 cats!
- Photographers that inspire me :
Lilian Bassman, Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz, Sarah Moon, Michael Kenna, Fan Ho, Don Hong-Oai …
